WHAT WE DO

It happens. Maybe you came back from vacation, maybe a pump failed while you were away, or maybe you inherited a pool that hasn’t been touched in months. Whatever the reason, a green pool doesn’t mean a lost cause — it just means it needs the right treatment.

Our green pool recovery process eliminates algae, rebalances your water chemistry, and restores your pool to a clean, clear, swim-ready condition. We’ve brought back pools that looked beyond saving, and we can handle yours too.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Assess: We evaluate the severity of the algae growth, test the water, and check the equipment to build a recovery plan specific to your pool.

Step 2: Shock and Treat: We apply a heavy chlorine treatment to kill the algae and begin the clearing process. Depending on the severity, this may take multiple treatments over several days.

Step 3: Filter and Clean: As the algae dies off, we vacuum it out, clean the filter (often multiple times during
recovery), and brush all surfaces to remove any remaining residue.

Step 4: Rebalance: Once the water is clear, we fully rebalance the chemistry to get everything back to proper levels — ready for swimming.

WHY B&C

No Judgment. We’re not here to make you feel bad about a green pool. Life happens. We’re here to fix it and get you back in the water.

Honest Assessment. We’ll tell you upfront what the recovery will involve and what it’ll cost. If it’s a minor green-up, we’ll treat it during a regular visit. If it’s severe, we’ll walk you through the process and timeline so you know what to expect.

PRICING

Green pool recovery pricing varies depending on severity. Minor algae issues caught early may be resolved within regular service. More advanced recovery starts at an additional cost based on the work involved.

FAQs

How long does it take to clear a green pool?

It depends on how severe the algae growth is. Minor cases can clear up within a few days. More advanced situations may take a week or more of treatment. We’ll give you a realistic timeline upfront.

No — during recovery, chlorine levels are significantly elevated and the water is not safe for swimming. We’ll let you know when the water is balanced and ready.
